The QR31 extension is the essential accessory for the QAÏTO Q30 & Q50, providing an additional 45 to 60 minutes of burn time.
Simple
Thanks to its patented technology, QAÏTO® allows you to burn pellets directly in a fireplace, insert, or wood stove, just like traditional logs.
The QR31 extension is installed in one easy step on the Q30 burner in your fireplace. Important: the extension should only be installed on a cold burner, before lighting a fire.
As with all QAÏTO products, the extension can be installed without any modifications in your wood stove or fireplace.
It allows for easy filling and ignition.
The additional QR31 top section is the perfect complement to the QAÏTO Q30 and Q50 models, providing an extra 45 to 60 minutes of heat.
On the Q30, it fits perfectly on top of the burner.
On the Q50, it can be positioned either to the right, in the center, or to the left of the cast iron burner.
Safety recomandations:
- When the fireplace is cold, you can install or remove the top section by hand (wearing gloves to avoid getting dirty) without risk of burns.
- When the fireplace is in use, it is strongly advised against removing the top section.
- When the fireplace is off but still hot, we recommend wearing specific heat-resistant gloves to remove the QR31 top section or using log tongs with caution.
Efficient and Cozy
The heat from the pellets is directly transferred to the firebox by the flames.
Meanwhile, the cast iron burner retains the heat, and the warmth continues to radiate long after the fire has gone out.
With the extension (QR31), you can extend the enjoyment of the stored heat for several hours after the last fire!
Clean
All you need is a bucket of pellets, such as our CLOSE TO FIRE bucket-seat*, to feed the Q30 burner and its extension without any mess.
The next day, there is virtually no ash left in the firebox. The glass in the insert requires much less maintenance than with logs.
